I had been hearing about Hollywood Fats for a lotta years, but I hadn't heard his playing. WOW! He threads jazz & blues together seamlessly, and the result is pure joy. It's sio very sad that he passed away, infuriatingly so that he died from drugs. We've lost too much great music to that trap.
