This is a lovely item, made in China, of course. It’s unique to look at, weighs a lot, AND does NOT close slowly. We’ve gotten spoiled with that wonderful option; please add that to THIS toilet seat. It’s “built like a tank”, so it should last a long time; Speedy delivery...wish the lid closed slowly!
